Blog: Seeing Ink Spots
Greetings
to all paper crafters and stamp enthusiasts who love Stampin' Up!
products. My name is Elizabeth Price and I am from San Jose California,
born and raised. Last April my husband Newel and I celebrated our 23rd
wedding anniversary. We have two boys: Nicholas age 22 and Logan age 15.
I love being a SU! Demonstrator and hosting stamp classes in my home.
It's at those times when I connect with great friends and enjoy girl
talk. I indulge in those moments because at all other times our house is
full of boy things from hockey gear, guitars, amps, speakers, more
hockey gear to race cars, big tools, and goalie hockey gear! At least I
have my rubber stamps and accessories galore.
Here is a bit of
trivia about myself. Currently I work as an event designer and
coordinator for Bloomster’s of San Jose. We are fortunate to create
unique events all over the San Francisco Bay Area from Carmel to Napa.
Before that I worked for Opera San Jose as a Production
Manager/Assistant Stage Director/Choreographer and was also lucky to
work for the Jose Limon Dance Company. And, before that I graduated from
San Jose State University with a Bachelors of Art in Theatre Arts. I am
a retired dancer and cheerleader. I also spent years as a coach and
choreographer for seven National Cheerleading Championship teams. I
guess I truly love the creative arts!
My interest for rubber
stamping was sparked a long time ago by my art teacher from junior high
school. I stamped a few things here and there and was always on the
lookout for stamp products. It wasn't until '98 when I heard about
Stampin' Up! and I became a demonstrator and much more involved in the
world of paper crafting. I am now totally hooked and passionate about
creating rubber stamped works of art for gift giving and home decor. In
2010 I was named a Stampin’ Up! Artisan Award Winner. Over the past
years I have had opportunities to create many projects for Stampin'
Up!'s Leaderships and Conventions. I love Stampin' Up! and this
February will mark my 15th year as a demonstrator.
I was first introduced to Stampin’ Up! in 1998 when I attended my first workshop. Although I had never heard of Stampin’ Up!, it was a “Mom’s Night Out” and I sure needed one! I scheduled my own workshop that night & joined the Stampin’ Up! family on the night of my party. Of course, I thought it would be a great way to get fabulous products at a great discount. I never dreamed it would turn into a thriving business all these years later!
I live in South Lyon, Michigan with my husband Tim, and our children Rachel (22), Braden (17) & Grayson (11). What I love most about Stampin’ Up! is that I have met a lot of wonderful friends who mean so much to me and hold a very special place in my heart. They have become part of my family! I love that I still get a “rubber high” as much today as I did back when I first started and I still get giddy when I see Mr. Brown coming down the street. My kids think I’m crazy! I am thrilled for the opportunity to be part of the Design Team for the Create with Connie & Mary SPRING EDITION 2013 and look forward to sharing my projects with you!

Blog: Inkredible Stamping
Hi
Stampers! I live in Eureka, MO with my Family and Fur Babies. I’ve been
a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator for over nine years and an avid crafter my
whole life. I fell in love with Stampin’ Up! The first time I saw it. I
was at a craft fair and the images displayed on card samples caught my
eye. The creativity started flowing and I was hooked! When I hosted my
first workshop I knew right away that becoming a Stampin' Up!
Demonstrator was the perfect opportunity for me to combine my love of
paper crafting with my love of teaching and sharing with others.
I enjoy making cards and scrapbook pages, but my favorite thing to make is small 3d gift items. It’s so much fun to dress up something small like candy and turn it into a great gift that will brighten someone’s day. I am also an avid reader! I’ll read just about anything I can get my hands on, especially cozy mysteries and fantasy books. A book is always made better when I have a hand stamped bookmark to go along with it!

Blog: Inking Out of the Box
I am SO excited to have been asked again to participate in another
Create With Connie and Mary - thanks girls! I have been a SU demo for 9
years and have loved every minute of it! I love experimenting with new
products and teaching others how to use them. The biggest benefit to
starting my business has for sure been the friendships I have gained.
From those living near and far from me, whether they are customers or
fellow demos, I have found so many friends! Keeping these friendships
flourishing is a delight and Stampin'Up! is a huge part of that.
Another great perk has to be the events Stampin'Up! puts on - attending
Leadership is a true highlight for me every year.
On the personal side, I have been a wife to the love of my life, Chris for 23 years. We have 4 daughters and our family is still growing! We welcomed our first grandson into the family in July and are expecting grandchild number two to arrive in February. Being a grandparent is my new favorite hobby!!

Blog: Robin's Craft Room
As
a lifelong crafter of some kind or another (loved gluing macaroni to
paper) I can truly say that I’m happiest right now as a paper crafter
and Stampin’ Up! demonstrator! Of course, I can spend a lot of time
crafting these days as I’m retired from several careers, and have a
craft room that’s
all mine to store and play with all my fun “stuff.”
My
husband and I have retired on the Big Island of Hawai‘i, and enjoy the
gardening and so many other activities that living in paradise offers.
We have two grown children and five grandchildren (let’s see – ages 12,
10, 9, 7 and 4), all of whom live too far away. But we do get to visit
several times and year, and I had a “grandchildren fix” just this past
fall.
