That would be the Create with Connie and Mary Spring Edition 2013 PREVIEW WEEK! I just HAD to hang up a welcome wreath to kick off our favorite time! We love 'showing off' what a Create with Connie and Mary edition is all about and that's why we have Preview Week! A couple things about Preview Week before I get to my project...
- Visit us EVERY DAY to see who who is sharing a preview project and WHO HAS BLOG candy! (HInt...today it is me...Mary Brown aka stampercamper!)
And now on to my BIG SPRING (edition) welcome...
I
so totally fell in love with the Pop-Up Posies kit in the Spring Mini!
As soon as I saw it I told Connie I was going to make a wreath with
it. Well...it was one of those times that what was in my mind and what
was happening while I was working on it were two different things! I'm
quite known for working ahea as last minute just is sooooo not me. Want
to know something? I didn't finish this up until THURSDAY!!! My, oh
my...so far behind (by my time that is!) But I will say...I do LOVE the
way it turned out!
Now with my project (and the way I did my flowers), you will have some leftovers that you can use on other projects (always a plus!) and I really didn't add much extra beyond the kit...a couple of ribbons (because we ALL have TONS of THAT laying around) and a little extra paper. Oh...and I also used the Typeset Alphabet dies. Anyway...I thought this would be a fun and different way to use the kit so have fun!
And before I forget...right after you download my tutorial and pattern, head over to my blog Stampercamper's Corner and leave me a comment. One lucky person will win a FREE subscription to Create with Connie and Mary Spring Edition 2013! But you MUST LEAVE THE COMMENT TODAY (Sunday, Jan 13th) to be eligible for the drawing!

I like your Spring Wreath. Is there a texture on the wreath cs? Or piercing around the edges, only? I REALLY would like to win a subscription.

Super cute! And I am always last minute on purpose usually! I work best under pressure, lol!

What a great idea. I admire your mind. I can't think out of the box. I love your new way of making the flowers. I think they look great. Mary

How fun is this? This is a cute wreath for spring! Gee, maybe if I bought the materials for it and download the tutorial I would have it done probably in time for May Day! I tend to be behind in everything lately! Thanks for sharing it with us.
