I
was first introduced to stamping via some friends who invited me to a
Stampin' Up workshop over 9 years ago. I resisted going and told my
friends that I wasn't "crafty"! They convinced me that I would have fun
so I went...and was hooked. At first I just went to workshops/classes
with friends but finally my dear upline convinced me to give being a
demonstrator a try. I haven't looked back!! I have been a demonstrator
for 6 years and have loved every minute of it. The friendships formed
through Stampin' Up are so special and I never could have imagined where
my business would take me. Just goes to show that everyone has a
creative side!
My family is my pride and joy. I am the mom of
two boys, 1st and 4th grade, who keep me busy all the time. My husband
is a C-5 pilot in the West Virginia Air National Guard and I am so proud
of him and all his unit does. When I am not stamping or being a
"soccer mom" (lots of soccer in my house), I am a pilot for United
Airlines. I served 10 years in the U.S. Air Force flying T-38s and
C-130s. Now I am a First Officer (copilot) flying Airbus 319/320s. I
mainly fly domestic routes and look forward to the day that I have some
stampers on board!!
I can't express how thrilled I am to be
joining the Create with Connie and Mary team as a guest designer. Such a
privilege to be in the company of such talented stampers! I am in love
with the new Spring Catalog and look forward to sharing some fun ideas
with you.
