My name is Connie Babbert and I've been a Stampin' Up! demonstrator for over ELEVEN years! I love the instant gratification and satisfaction I get from creating cards, 3D projects, gifts and home decor items! Since becoming a demonstrator, I have met so many new people and have made great friends! I love people saying to me...wow! You made this? I'm married to a great guy, Eric. We have two married sons, Adam to Beth who is expecting our first grandchild in June, and Ross to Allie! I finally have my daughters! I am blessed!

My name is Mary Brown (aka stampercamper) and I've been a Stampin' Up! demonstrator for over 12 years! I have been doing crafts all my life but fell in love with stamping the first time I tried it. Being a quilter also, I love how start to finish is SOOOO much quicker and there is just so many different things you can do. I specialty seems to be clean and simple designs! This is such a great hobby filled with wonderful people - both other demonstrators and customers who are now friends. Randy and I live in Xenia Ohio (Ohio's personal 'windy city') with our two 'fur children' (sh...don't tell them they're dogs!). I look forward to sharing ideas with all of you!

CCMC225 - Sketch Challenge

WOW...can you believe it?  Here we are in November already!  Before you know it...it will be CHRISTMAS!!!  Oh and speaking of Christmas (and the holidays) did you know the Create with Connie and Mary is launched Card "Create"tions this week?  It is a three week mini session filled with JUST CARDS!!!  (45 to be exact)!

But...what is Create with Connie and Mary Card "Create"tions all about? At the bottom of this post you will see a PREVIEW SAMPLE that Connie made that shows you what we will be doing!  Here are the details:

  • 3 week mini-edition that is only cards
  • These cards are EXCLUSIVE to our subscription and won't be shown anywhere else. 
  • Each designer will choose a holiday or winter set each week and make 3 different cards using that one set.
  • Total of 45 unique card ideas from 15 different sets.

2012 Create Thursday-005And now on to our challenge!  One of the most difficult things is often using those small images for a full size card!  We like those small images...they are oh so CUTE!!!  But using them can be a different story altogether!  So this week we have a sketch that will feature those little buggers. 

Please remember this is an SUO (Stampin' Up! Only) challenge.  Cards using non SU images, paper, etc will be removed.  Please respect our criteria.
