CCMC 152 - Color Challenge

 Can you believe it?  It's the END OF MAY already!  Now...how the heck did that happen?  But with the end of May comes the start of summer and all the good things that go with that...graduations, weddings, kids off school, vacation, NEW SU CATALOG SOON...oh...sorry...that just seemed to slip in there.

Boy...and although we are at the end of May, we are just in the middle of Week 2 of Create with Connie and Mary Summer Edition.  The team has just been doing a FABULOUS job with this weeks sets (Fabulous Florets, Pretty Postage, Pretty Peacock and Touch of Kindness!  It's not too late to join...you will be able to access all of the the tutorials shared to date AND all those fabulous ones still to come!

Anyway...like we said with our last color challenge we wanted to incorporate more incolors so here's a challenge that not only uses an incolor (Peach Parfait) but two colors that were brought back with the color renovation last year!

We have another GREAT sketch challenge for you!  Now, we know it looks like a lot of 'pieces' on there but remember it can be any shape not just circles!  It is always interesting to see how people interpret a sketch challenge.  Some folks stick pretty close to the original and occasionally you scratch your head and go ... hmmm....

And...now for my Preview Project!  I knew that I wanted to do a card set.  But, I also wanted some type of container to hold the cards.  When I started looking at Stampin' Up!'s Hello Blossoms single stamp, it seemed to look like a row of flowers in a Flower Shop...so...my idea of a Flower Shop Card Box was born!

 
I've made a complete tutorial of how to make the box and closeups of the cards inside.  The "handles" at the top slide down into Modern Label buckles on the back so it is easy to get into the Card Box!

 
 

I made four cards to match and decorated the flaps of the envelopes, too!  I used greetings from Fundamental Phrases so each one was different...a nice set to give someone...who doesn't need all occasions cards?  Download my tutorial for more pictures!
